In 2024, the opening for the mission, climbing out of the truck turned over on its side and seeing a missile hit a tall building with debris flying down all around you, is still one of the coldest intros to any FPS from that era.

The second best ending imo. Sure Menendez became a martyr, and America fell into anarchy, but Harper, Alex, and Woods are still alive to survive Cordis Die. I think we’re good.

So apparently two years before this Mason, Hudson, Woods and Adler (basically Treyarch’s TF 141 imo) were hanging out with Captain Butcher of Task Force Vanguard talking about Godzilla, King Kong, and Menendez along with his crew of fellow time travelers. They really dropped the ball with Vanguard’s story and it just messes with the CoD timeline horribly, matter of fact I’’d say BOCW had the last best writing surrounding the WZ story.
